ForeverGreen Receives Clinical Study Results on Marine Phytoplankton

The results of the first double-blind placebos studies have been released.  Following is an exceprt from the study that we received at the recent ForeverGreen Conference, now as published press-release:

OREM, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ForeverGreen Corp. (OTCBB: FVRG.OB), a manufacturer and distributor of all natural whole foods, today announced the company has received the preliminary findings of a recently completed medical study of the benefits of marine phytoplankton to humans.

Scientific evidence has proven one of the key ingredients in ForeverGreens FrequenSea, Alpha 3 concentrated marine phytoplankton (Alpha 3CMP), does in fact benefit humans who consume the product. The initial study was conducted by the Department of Health Promotion and Education at a major university to determine the impact of Alpha 3 concentrated marine phytoplankton on human health indicators.

The study was a double blind placebo conducted over a three month period with the groups being clinically tested three times, and tested five times with psychospiritual assessment tools. The study determined three areas showing significant results for those taking Alpha 3CMP:

1. A significant increase in the CD3 measures. CD3 is an indicator of the presence of T-Lymphocytes which are primarily responsible for the elimination of internally manufactured antigens (viruses, bacteria, etc.) in living tissue.

2. Significant increase in scores on the emotional subscale of the SF36, a health survey used to determine functional health and well-being.

3. Increase in scores on the Authentic Happiness Inventory, an instrument developed by Dr. Martin Seligman, Director of Penn State University Positive Psychology Center. Inquires included good moods, feeling successful, ability to focus, filled with joy, pride, enthusiasm, and optimism.

We are very excited to combine scientific fact with the thousands of anecdotal results we have received and our medical experts have believed, commented ForeverGreens CEO, Ron Williams. These findings will be further be enhanced by additional studies currently being conducted that include both specific uses, as well as, wide scale health measurements. This is a major development for our company and our distribution network, and a positive step forward in helping people improve their health.

A Few Reasons To Eat A Plant-Based Diet

I am a huge advocate of plant-based eating. I need to qualify that somewhat, however, because I believe we need to take care to eat plants that are as close as possible to the way they have been provided to us by nature. A piece of fruit, such as an apple or a peach, is nature's ultimate "Fast Food". My lifelong quest to find foods that would support vibrant life on their own ultimately lead me to the product that I hold near and dear to my heart, FrequenSea. It is a food like no other on the market, as it has at its base Marine Phytoplankton. For those of you who don't know the story of how marine phytoplankton recently came to be available as a food source for mankind, be sure to watch the video "By Land and By Sea” on this website. It beautifully explains the story of Tom Harper, his victory in developing a technique that is changing the world in a profound way, and his personal battle with cancer.

Shortly after I started to tell people about the amazing marine phytoplankton whole food tonic, "FrequenSea", I came across a fisherwoman who related to me a story that opened my awareness about food in a new way. She said that they had once caught a dolphin in their nets and decided to dissect it. When the dissection was complete, they was absolutely astounded by the fact that its stomach was only about the size of an orange while its brain overflowed a 5-gallon bucket. I didn't think to ask her what type of dolphin it was, and for that matter, I have no idea if her story was true, but it made me think about the quality of food that we eat. It makes sense to me that if we eat a nutrient-dense diet, we wouldn't eat nearly the quantity of food we now eat, as our bodies would have all of the nutrients that it needs to carry out their functions.

Just as a point of interest, as mammals, we partition our energy among 5 major metabolic activities:
1. Cellular maintenance
2. Themoregulation (keeping the body within a certain temperature range)
3. Locomotion
4. Growth
5. Reproduction

So, it seems reasonable that if we make a point of ingesting foods that nourish our body, we will no longer continue to stuff things inside of us that add nothing to our health, and ultimately, deplete our body by the need to digest, detoxify and finally eliminate something from which it has received no benefit.  Which brings me back to my point – the only way to eat a nutrient-dense diet is to fill yourself up with unprocessed plants.

So, be kind to yourself - FEED YOU FOR LIFE!
